Deadstock black leather mid-calf boots c. 1990s Joan & David. Supple, high-quality leather upper with a subtle sheen. Leather sole with rubber tread. Square toes and 1 inch stacked heel. Thin "hook and loop" (the generic name for a specific type of material we cannot name due to risking copyright infringement - please look this up if you'd like to know what it is) strap at top of calf, with removable velcro pouches for treasures.
